Did you know that if you buy a product from North Face which proves to be defective, you then have no rights to go back to the store to get it replaced with a new working product, even if you discover the error just a few days after the purchase. You also won't get your money back so you can buy another product from another brand.

Did you know that if you buy a product from North Face which turns out to be defective you may have to wait up to two months or more before you get your product back; even if you discover the defect within a week of your purchase.

— This means that if you for example buy a down jacket in November that appears broken just a few days after your purchase, you have no right to return it. Instead, you might have to wait until February or even longer to get your repaired jacket back. During this time you wont be able to borrow a jacket from North Face and you also will get no compensation.

— This means that NorthFace, if for example you bought a black jacket with defective stitches, instead of repairing it might decide to replace it with a new jacket in another model and in another color. And even if the replacement jacket has another color, you have no right to get your money back. Instead you can't do anything but to accept the new jacket – even if the color is completely different from the one you actually bought and even if the replacement jacket is of a completely different model.

We think this is wrong!

Help us change the North Face consumer policy. Do this by not buying any products from North Face until they start taking responsibility for their customers and products. FAIR PLAY

We just want NorthFace to start respect it's customers.

We want NorthFace to start respect it's customers and to change their customer- and warranty policies. This campaign have four simple points that we want NorthFace to start acknowledge;

If a consumer buys a North Face product that a short time after the purchase turns out to be defective, the customer then should have the right to go back to the store where it was sold to get it replaced with a working product.

If the store does not have the product in stock, the customer then should have the right to either wait for it to get repaired, or to get a full refund. This should be the customer's choice – not North Face. North Face simply should understand that if a customer for example buys a new jacket to be used on a ski holiday a week later, having the jacket sent to be repaired and not getting it back until two weeks later, basically would mean that the customer would not be able to use the jacket on the Ski vacation, which was the only reason why the customer bought the jacket in the first place.

If a defective product get sent for repair and NorthFace choose to instead of repairing it, replace it with a new similar product, the customer then should be able to expect the replacement product to be the exact same as the original product. This includes color, model, size and functions. If the original product is no longer in production, the customer then should have the choice of either accepting the replacement product or to simply get a full refund. North Face simply understands that if a customer purchases for example a jacket of a certain color and with a specific function, then the customer also should be able to expect the replaced jacket to be the exact same as the one that the customer purchased.

NortFace should understand that it is equally important to care about it's customers before as after it's customers purchased it's products. Therefore, it should not take more than a day for both satisfied and unsatisfied customers to get answers to customer support issues. NorthFace should understand that it's customers get frustrated and angry if it takes up to two weeks to get an reply to an email sent to North Face customer support, and that this is something that harms North Face's reputation and that leads to losses in goodwill, customers and money for the company. NorthFace therefore should guarantee that it will do it's absolutely best to answer all customers that need to come in contact with the company within one working day.
